Ms Infinite Thought should be aware that there is a precedent in this area. It has been alleged that no less than the Communist Party of Great Britain was partly funded by a franchise of Sketchley’s Dry Cleaners.

    I’m sure they’ve always denied the Dry Cleaners chain rumour, but I much prefer the allegation that Weekly Worker is funded by the CPGB-PCC owning the publishing rights of The Wurzels back catalogue. ;-)

    I think they HAVE always denied it as well – hence “alleged”. Still highly amusing, though. :-)
