Ananova – Liquidator chant falls foul at West Brom

9 January 2004, 5:33 pm

A Division One football team has dropped its pre-match anthem after concerns were raised about obscene chants accompanying the tune.

West Brom was advised to remove The Liquidator from its playlist amid concerns it incited foul language directed at rivals Wolves. […]

[…]The Liquidator will be replaced by Jump Around by House of Pain from tonight, before the Black Country derby against Walsall. Club officials are now searching for a new pre-match anthem.

Would that be the same “Jump Around” which includes the line “if your bitch steps up I’m slapping the ho”?

A huge improvement over the word “fuck”, obviously.
