He was one of the founders of the legendary Dead by Dawn nights at Brixton\u2019s 121 Centre and released a number of tunes on the seminal <a href=\"http:\/\/praxis.c8.com\/\">Praxis <\/a>label before starting his own <a href=\"http:\/\/ambush.c8.com\/\">Ambush Records<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lastsigh.com\/interviews2k\/djscud.htm\">DJ Scud<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He set up his own label, JUNK, at the end of 2003 after relocating to the Netherlands. JUNK builds on the Ambush sound \u2013 ragged dancefloor killers bump up against more abstract downtempo tracks. Junk\u2019s releases have torn up the place at Sick &#038; Twisted and have also featured on CD or online mixes by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lfodemon.com\">LFO Demon<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/djripley.blogspot.com\/\">DJ Ripley<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/uncarved.org\/blog\/?p=610\">DJ Brokenyolk.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE STORY SO FAR:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aphasic &#8211; Yeah Yeah Yeah Whatever (Junk 01) 12\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201dTwo ultra fast tracks and two slower-paced tracks. Influences move from Indian drumming to old skool hardcore, from salsa to classical, from ragga to musique concrete via dub, punk and jazz.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cTo the Top\u201d is insane everything-but-the-kitchen-sink mash up at its best.
