It is the 3rd issue but is confusingly titled issue 1. The actual first issue has now sold out and can be downloaded as a pdf from their website. Go deh!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vinyl<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lots of good tunes coming out as well, but I can&#8217;t be arsed reviewing them all here.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sizzla has done a nice tune on top of a loop from Errol Dunkley&#8217;s &#8220;Little Way Different&#8221; (which I quoted below).<\/li>\n<li>Confessions riddim.<\/li>\n<li>Niney has redone &#8220;Wolf &#038; Leopards&#8221; with Capleton on it.<\/li>\n<li>Bun Them riddim (aka Hot Milk).<\/li>\n<li>Blood &#038; Fire have released a batch of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodandfire.co.uk\/singles.php\" target=\"_blank\">sevens<\/a> of\u00a0the\u00a0original riddim of the Congos&#8217; &#8220;Fisherman&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nice nice nice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WTF?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the latest <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dubvendor.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Dub Vendor<\/a> catalogue, ex-T&#038;GWU general secretary <a href=\"http:\/\/www.100greatblackbritons.com\/bios\/bill_morris.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Morris<\/a> has recorded a version of Marvin Gaye&#8217;s &#8220;What&#8217;s Going On&#8221; in a dub-poet stylee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hmrc.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">HM Revenue &#038; Customs<\/a> are using the old Lee Perry instrumental &#8220;The Liquidator&#8221; in their radio adverts for tax credits. It would be very interesting to find out if they have licensed the tune direct from Scratch or are paying someone else&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>VDU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some good new blogs as well:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jamminjasounds.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Distinctly Jamaican Sounds<\/a>\u00a0with tributes to Yellowman and Sister Nancy. Label scans galore.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drtyshdws.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Drtyshdws<\/a> is also on a Nancy tip, along with a bit of Billy Boyo and John Holt.
