300 quid to get in
I-Pods.
Great idea, obviously, but isn’t walking around with those very obvious white headphones akin to holding up a big flashing neon sign saying “Hello everyone! I’m carrying 300 quid’s worth of palm-sized hardware around in my pocket – and I won’t hear you coming either…”?
Maybe that’s just my jealousy coming out. I can’t even afford 3 quid for a JA 7″ this month. And my CD walkman has finally bust completely after a few months of only playing through one ear.
And actually it wasn’t even mine, it was the other half’s. Damn.

Big up Nick GUTTERBREAKZ for his Cabaret Voltaire reminiscences (sp?). I used to watch Max Headroom devotedly myself and remember those Cabs videos being on all the time along with a load of other stuff that you wouldn’t get to see anywhere else.
