Icon’s DVD will feature fully restored and remastered image and audio (personally overseen by Chris Menges - Babylon’s Director of Photography) plus Audio Commentaries and Interviews.

At last, an official DVD release for this classic film!
Rarovideo are releasing a Region-free DVD which will include Babylon as well as Franco Rosso’s excellent documentary about Linton Kwesi Johnson entitled Dread Beat an’ Blood.
Both films are being visually and sonically restored for the 21st Century.
The DVD will also come with other extras and a 24 page bilingual booklet giving the background to the making of the film.
The DVD is being released at the Rototom Sunsplash Festival in Udine, Italy, 5 - 14 July 2007.

The mystery of Babylon on VHS video…
This looks like a cover for an official video release - any further information (or a better scan) would be most welcome.
